Income to Poverty Ratios of School Families in the US 2019

This project was based around data released in 2019 on the income to poverty ratio (IPR) of families of public school children around the US. The data was obtained from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Through this project, I was able to:
-Clean dirty data in Excel using functions and filters
-Use joins in Tableau to combine tables of information together on a common characteristic
-Design a dashboard to display the results of my analysis

Questions I was able to answer:
-What regions of the US have the best IPR? The worst?
-Do the top schools based on IPR have a large number of students or small?
-How does the type of school relate to the IPR level of families who attend?
